About Me...

Amanda Erlandson, LCSW Therapist Trained in Brainspotting, CBT and DBT

My path as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) has been defined by a deep commitment to human resilience. From supporting individuals navigating the complexities of the justice system and psychiatric hospitals to helping families in emergency settings, I have seen firsthand the challenges of finding truly compassionate, quality mental healthcare. These experiences have grounded my practice in a singular truth: no matter the struggle, there is always a path toward healing.

My Specialization & Philosophy

In today’s world, we are constantly bombarded by the "perfect" images of social media and the loud, often toxic, messages of diet culture. These pressures don't just affect our mood; they fracture our relationship with ourselves.

As a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, I specialize in helping both teens and adults navigate these digital waters. Together, we work to dismantle the influence of diet culture and build a foundation of body positivity and neutrality. My goal is to help you or your teenager move past comparison and self-doubt, reclaiming a sense of peace and autonomy over your own body.

Our Partnership

I believe therapy is a collaborative, evolving process. Whether we are navigating the lingering effects of collective trauma or working through personal transitions, I provide a safe, inviting space where you can grow at your own pace. Your goals are unique, and your treatment plan will be, too—utilizing personalized tools that fit your specific life and needs.

Let’s Connect

Choosing a therapist is a significant step. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so we can discuss your goals and ensure we are the right fit for your journey toward wellness.
